Mr GB Menon has passed away 

It has been announced that Mr GB Menon passed away today (7th November 2014) at 13:00 hrs in Ernakulam, Kerala


The funeral will take place tomorrow at Cochin Kerala[MR GB Menon]

Mr Menon was Founder President of National Association of Fire Officers (NAFO) and the Indian Aviation Fire Safety Specialist Group (IAFSSG) and former Chairman of the Fire Fighting Sectional Committee (CED 22), Bureau of Indian Standards. He was a Fellow of Institution of Fire Engineers (UK). He was Chief Fire Officer, Department of Civil Aviation, Govt. of Zambia and India's representative in International General Assenbly, IFF (UK). He was also Fire Advisor of Gujarat Electricity Board and Gujarat Disaster Management Authority and Member of SFPE and NFPA.
