Navid Bayat

Navid Bayat is a professional firefighter in Tehran Fire Department (TFD). He joined the Fire & Rescue Service in 2004, starting his career as a firefighter in different fire stations, gaining experience in fire and rescue operations under the supervision and command of competent commanders. In, in 2011, following the needs of the organisation, he was transferred to the Tehran International Fire & Rescue Training Centre as an English-Persian interpreter for different special courses in various levels conducted by British instructors from the Fire Service College. He also served as a training instructor of a number of training courses such as hazmat, fire investigation, fire behaviour and ventilation. He is currently the head of international affairs of Tehran Fire Department and an advisor to the CEO with respect to international relations. Bayat holds a BA and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and he is now working on a PhD in the same major
