Andy Janes

Andy served in the British Army for 14 years and was involved in numerous international operations including Northern Ireland, Iraq, and Afghanistan. After leaving the military, Andy spent several years based in the Middle East as a hostile environment close protection officer and overseeing security operations and logistics for clients in the energy sector and NGO and diplomatic communities. He finished his time in the Middle East as a security manager overseeing the security provisions of several embassy locations in Iraq.

In 2018, Andy joined Intertek Cristal as Security Director and has overseen Cristal’s security audit programs which address digital, physical and behavioural risk inherent to the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.
