Amanda is a Crisis Communication Consultant and Former Head of Corporate Communications for Greater Manchester Police. 

Amanda Coleman Communication Ltd is a specialist crisis communication and reputation management consultancy run by Amanda. She has more than 20 years’ experience in crisis communication, which included leading the police communication response to the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017.

Her first book, Crisis Communication Strategies, was published in May 2020 by Kogan Page. Amanda is a Chartered PR practitioner, Fellow of the CIPR and PRCA and a trainer for the PRCA.
