February 2022: The Crisis Response Journal is pleased to share dates for the next meetings to be held by the Institute of Risk Management (ISRM) The first is Strategic risk and the leadership challenge: Managing towards high performance, which will take place on February 16 and 17, 2022 in Australia. The Australian and New Zealand ISRM Chapter is thrilled to partner with the ACT Chapter of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA), the leading professional institution and industry association for Risk Managers in the Asia Pacific region, on a strategic risk conference in Canberra. The event will explore strategic risk areas and how they affect decision-making, policy, and resource allocation. A range of emerging risks and what they may mean for organisations transforming to be future-ready and resilient will also be unpacked. The second is a breakfast briefing on February 17, featuring a conversation with Lord James Arbuthnot. The ISRM Strategic leadership breakfast briefing will feature Lord Arbuthnot, who is Chair of the House of Lords Select Committee on Risk Assessment and Risk Planning, in a discussion on the topic of: ‘Preparing for Extreme Risks: Building a Resilient Society.’
