Knowledge sharing and best practice in sport 

May 2022: The CRJ is happy to share the news from its media partner, Major Events International (MEI) about its Hosts & Federations Summit, taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland from June 7 to 9

This year, the Summit will place a significantly greater emphasis on Host City attendance and cities’ Local Organising Committees to benefit from knowledge sharing and best practice.
 
The fifth edition of the Summit focuses on the symbiotic connectivity between International Sports Federations and Host Cities. The most important change this year is the focus on targeted connectivity and, where possible, this will be pre-planned prior to the event with MEI support, to ensure that participants gain maximum value from all pre-arranged meetings.
 
The event will include subject and sector-specific workshops, specialised briefings and a day of panels and presentations with themes ranging from:

• International Federation strategy and future plans;
• Fan engagement and new sources of revenue;
• City best practice;
• Enhancing sport participation;
• Auditable legacy;
• Inclusivity; and
• Sustainability.
