Friedrich Steinhäusler (Full Professor of Physics and Biophysics, PhD) is Technical Director of the International Security Competence Centre Inc (Austria), responsible for risk assessment and crisis management in several EU and NATO research activities (eg www.bridgeproject.eu; www.cato-project.eu; www.castproject.eu).
