George Broom
George Broom has been a behind-the-scenes business advisor to the CRJ since its launch. This year we welcome him as an official member of our advisory panel.
He runs a highly successful facilities management and soft services business, which he founded more than 25 years ago. Always working to the highest ethical standards in areas where such standards often fall short, Broom also partners with a London charity to provide business mentoring to start-ups and entrepreneurs in some of the city’s most deprived areas. His aim is to help entrepreneurs and SMEs achieve resilient, safe, and responsible businesses that are sustainable and value their people.
In the 1980s, he and a business partner launched London’s first commercial waste paper recycling service. Broom has kept a keen eye on and deep involvement with sustainable and environmentally responsible business operations ever since.
Since the new team took over in 2022, Broom has been instrumental in helping CRJ’s most recent editorial and management teams stay on top of their game. His advice has informed key aspects of operations and has helped CRJ become more resilient. He has a keen eye for strategy and easily steps into the role of advisor.
